Simplyhealth Great Bristol 10K 

Looking to get fit and help make a difference? Join #TeamCotsforTots for the Simplyhealth Great Bristol 10K and Family Mile on Sunday 7th May 2017!

The Great Bristol 10K is a largely flat course suitable for runners of all abilities, and takes you on an exciting tour of Bristol’s Harbourside, passing under the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. It's the perfect race for first-time competitors looking to take on an exciting new challenge for 2017, or if you're a seasoned athlete why not try to beat your personal best?

Once you’ve signed up, don’t forget to let us know you’re on #TeamCotsforTots by filling in and returning our running registration form! We’ll then support you all the way to the finish line with top tips and advice about your fundraising. 10k runners will also receive a special Cots for Tots running vest to wear on race day! Download your registration form here

We’re also excited to welcome back the Family Mile, which was a huge hit in 2016! Mums, dads and little ones aged 3 and up can walk or run this special mile together after the main race, so get your family together for a grand day out. When you sign up and get sponsored for Cots for Tots you'll also be helping to support other families who need or may need the vital services at St Michael's Special Care baby Unit.

Even better, the Family Mile is Wrong Trousers themed! Children and their families are encouraged to don their wildest, wackiest and most wonderful wrong trousers and raise funds for Cots for Tots. Runners can parade around in their pyjamas, shimmy along in sequins or have some fun in funky flares.  Mums and dads will be able to get in on the fun too!  

As well as a finisher’s medal for each participant, youngsters will receive a personalised Wallace & Gromit’s Wrong Trousers Day race number and there will be on-the-spot prizes for the most extravagant trousers on the day.

The Unit is the specialist neonatal centre for the whole South West, providing life-saving care to hundreds of sick and premature babies every year. Join #TeamCotsforTots today and show your support for these tiny patients and their families!

We won't ask you to raise a minimum amount, we just ask that you raise as much as you can to support sick babies and their families.
