Saddle up and join #TeamCotsforTots! We've got a cracking cycling event to test your pedal power - our unique Land's End to Bristol challenge from 20th until 23rd September 2018!
Cots for Tots is running a truly unique event which will see a team of sponsored cyclists set off from Land’s End with the goal of reaching Bristol in just four days!
We’re looking for people to take on this bespoke cycling challenge, and help transform little lives at the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s Hospital, Bristol. In four days, you will cover 240 miles, riding through the stunning English countryside of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, all the way to Bristol. You’ll discover parts of the huge catchment area that the Special Baby Care Unit covers, giving you the opportunity to see first-hand just how far some patients and families travel for lifesaving, world-class treatment there.
As a rider, you will be fully supported from the moment you sign up, with fundraising advice and resources from our dedicated team, an iconic Wallace & Gromit cycling jersey, a pre-event ride to meet other participants, and technical support throughout the challenge itself. You’ll then get to enjoy a well-deserved team celebration on your triumphant return to Bristol!
The 2017 ride saw some of our dear friends from Aardman join us on our unforgettable fundraising challenge. Here's what 'Aardrider' Kitty Clay had to say:
"Simply put, we had an absolute blast. The whole experience was so much fun, from fundraising to training, and all our colleagues really got on board which was just fantastic. But at the end of the day, it really comes down to the fact that you’re part of something bigger, making a different to the lives of sick children and babies from Bristol and beyond. You can’t beat that feeling.”
So if you consider yourself a cycling enthusiast wanting to give back, or you’re a beginner looking for a challenge, help Cots for Tots save the lives of sick babies, and achieve a fantastic personal goal to remember forever.
