From cause related marketing donations, to regional wide in-store competitions, companies big and small have supported the Cots for Tots Appeal in some very imaginative ways. Here are just some examples:
Baby swimming class provider Turtle Tots in Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire have supported Cots for Tots since 2012, raising thousands of pounds by donating a percentage from every class booked and organising fundraising events such as summer parties for their clients.
The White Stuff Bristol store has been supporting the Cots for Tots Appeal since 2011 and have raised an incredible £12,000. From product sales, donations and bake sales, to a crafting competition, everyone at White Stuff has got involved and supported their local special care baby unit.
In March 2016, 11 Starbucks branches across the South West took on the gruelling Rock Solid Race in Exeter, raising money for Cots for Tots in honour of a staff member’s baby who received vital treatment at St Michael’s Special Care Baby Unit. Tackling immense ascents, ice-cold plunges, obstacles galore and plenty of mud, the Rock Solid team – along with all the fundraising Starbucks branches – raised a fantastic £1,500

Here are some examples of how just some of our fantastic Charity of the Year partners have reached their amazing fundraising totals.
Wilkinson chose the Cots for Tots Appeal as their Charity of the Year Partner and raised an incredible total of £78,103 through their 17 stores across the region. The stores carried out a wide range of fundraising activities from sky dives and half marathons, to cake sales and even ghost hunts, to reach this inspiring total.
Thomson Airways raised over £9,000 for the Cots for Tots Appeal from fundraising events and on-board foreign currency collections. The Thomson Airways team were inspired to choose Cots for Tots as their Charity of the Year, as cabin crew member Julie-Anne’s daughter Grace was cared for at the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s Hospital after being born 14 weeks premature.
The Bristol office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell raised £7,840 for Cots for Tots, as part of our 2013 Charity of the Year partnership. Employees got their thinking caps on and took part in lots of cracking events including the Three Peaks Challenge, dress down days and a Big Quiz night, to raise the amazing total.
