Thanks also to all the guys at Skydive London who made sure it was a fantastic day for all! Check out John’s fantastic video here

Olivia’s Story

Little Olivia is now home with her mum and dad, but she spent the first month of her life on the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s. Whilst there her dad wrote this excellent heartfelt blog which really shows what a special and important place St Michael’s is! Click here to read Olivia’s story

2011 Bristol Folk Festival

We are very happy to announce that the wonderful people at the 2011 Bristol Folk Festival have elected Cots for Tots as their chosen charity! The festival itself will be at Colston Hall from April 29th-May 1st but months before the actual event they have already raised a fantastic £1000!

The festival has raised the money through sales of a specially commissioned charity single ‘Lullaby’ and from collections at curtain-raising gigs being staged during the countdown to the three-day MayDay event including a Christmas ceilidh and shows by bands Mabon and Kerfuffle.

‘Lullaby’, out on the Jelli Records label, was launched at Colston Hall in November. Written by Bristol musicians Bashema and Trish Brown, it was recorded at St. George’s Hall with backing from the Bristol Ensemble String Quartet. It is available for a £3 donation to the Cots for Tots from Colston Hall and St George’s box offices or by sending £3 plus postage to: Bristol Folk Festival, 32 Welsford Avenue, Stapleton, Bristol, BS16 1BW. It will also be available throughout the festival weekend.

The festival will also be offering those buying their ticket online the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to the Cots for Tots Appeal! For the line up and to buy tickets please visit www.bristolfolkfestival.com/.
